Allison & Chris – Smith Barn

When you own a business, they make you create these fictionalized “ideal clients”. Someone who checks all of your business boxes. Someone who is seemingly perfect. Someone who became real when I met Allison & Chris.

Allison & Chris are two musically talented, fun-loving history nerds (with a cat named Alexander Hamilton and everything!) who requested my help documenting their magical autumnal woodsy wedding. I was HERE FOR IT. They continued to tell me more about their day; deep burgundy dresses, a first look and an unplugged ceremony, apple cider doughnuts from Russell Orchards, and lots of dancing! Could they have served up a more appealing day?

They not only lucked out with perfect fall weather, and an incredibly helpful and beautiful wedding party. Peabody Historical Society’s Smith Barn couldn’t have been a better location for these two! A intimate ceremony in front of serene woods at the Felton-Smith Historic Site, then a cozy reception in this rustic barn, and so many photo locations! There is an pear orchard just sitting next to this barn, asking to be photographed.

Smith Barn is definitely one of my favorite venues in Massachusetts, and while your day might look slightly different than Allison & Chris’s, this venue may fit perfectly for you too!
